Fireworks from the sun

The classical watch of that old man stopped, the hands of it were broken and burnt with no mercy. The last paper on the calendar told the story of the 27th of Dec. The pages of books little children used to take to school were torn into a million pieces. Hatred laughed with a voice like a funeral.

Rain fell down carrying the unfortunate news of war starting. Sadness covered everything with silence and haze. The drop of tear lost it’s purity to be a black drop of damage. Nothing left but the clean bodies of innocent people. Everyone was running with no place to go. Hearts beating so loud, families disappeared. Mothers sat under the ruins with their hands on their children. Memories of yesterday started to play like a sad play on the ashes of the theatre. Boxes of jewelry melted, everyone thought it’s the end, but it will never be.

Fireworks from the sun fell on the heads of people and mosques. A sunless, moonless sky made the clock walk faster to start a night in the middle of the day. That night stayed for many mornings. Seeds died in the cradle, pain screamed asking for help. Cold, lonely and injured, it’s how fathers ran after their sons. Stones turned into sands blown in the air. Smiles faded like the sun behind the clouds in a rainy day. Hurricanes of fire twisted the empty rooms of motels all around.

Eyes of stone watched all the catastrophes, and the icy hearts of criminals loved the scene of armless, foodless, homeless people dying. Aggressive and sick, it’s war. Children didn’t get the chance to cry.
A step on the moon is a huge step forward, and a war is a huge step backward. Nature honors the peace found in people but felons taught nature how to be aggressive.

Honoring peace now is how we give rest to the people dying because of the living cruelty.

In the memory of all the martyrs of Gaza.
