MuteSpot concept

Mutespot is a visionary concept that allows wireless Bluetooth powered gadgets to control your cell phone via a technology called UPnP.

As for the first type of MuteSpot, it’s a highly strategic kind of arrangement, it switches your cell phone to a special profile called “On street” once you step in the car with the engine on, this particular profile is an automatic cell phone answer machine that plays a personal prerecorded voice message telling the caller your driving or what ever, it also asks the caller to call later unless it’s an argent emergency, if it is the driver will be notified to stop and answer the call, calls won’t be available unless the gear is on “Park”.

In the case of short messages, an SMS will be sent as an automatic response for the sender, telling him that the driver is not ready to answer the call, and asking to call the driver if it’s an emergency.

A special lock state will be facing the user while in vehicle, to guaranty users don't text while driving.

Regarding the second type of MuteSpot, it switches your cell phone to the “Silent” profile once you step in a restaurant, hospital, work shipping place or a library.

This feature is widely needed to avoid embarrassments, and to make sure cell phones are not causing any kind of annoyance to anyone.

As for the third type of MuteSpot, it switches your cell phone off or switches it to the “Offline” profile once you step in an area where it’s dangerous to have radio transmitting, this particular feature is necessary when it comes to gas stations, hospitals, airports and aero planes.

All of these connections will be done without the knowledge or the permission of the driver.

It’s not assured that such concept can be developed, but I’m sure that with some effort it can be true. Logos will be placed all over the places with such policy, including vehicles.

This feature can be disabled by the user.

It's not something that should be developed to make sure drivers don't kill themselves or anybody else, everyone knows raising awareness is the best way, but this is just a small glimpse of how we can  make technology capable of protecting us.

Hope you like it Oprah!
